From my heart to yours🤗❤️

"Detachment is not indifference, it is the prerequisite for effective involvement. Often what we think is best for others is distorted by our attachments to our opinions. We want others to be happy in the way we think they should be happy. It is only when we want nothing for ourselves that we are able to see clearly into others needs and understand how to serve them."

- Mahatma Gandhi

Good and precious people,

I wish you a day where trial and tribulation find it completely impossible to know your whereabouts. I further wish you an unblemished happiness and access to a million smiles, at least a million

😊❤️.

Today, I stepped away from my post😊at MY and Hiram Arvada Haskin's "well-appointed" park and sanctuary that I might recalibrate myself in an attempt to keep up with life's ever-changing mood and its ability to change the "direction of the wind" on a whim.

Understanding is the key to living in harmony with one another and in these times it is massively important that we invest heavily in the idea of knowing, if only minimally, the hopes and aspirations of one another. In so doing we'll limit significantly the possibility of "dangerous misunderstanding."

In this period of one political "misstep" after another, we are being imbued with ugliness, divisiveness, and hatred, enough, if such were water, to "drown even the strongest swimming fish."

The most effective antidote to this horror?

Try this:

As I sat on my bench in the Haskin yesterday, a tiny little girl, walking with her older sister, suddenly changed the course of her feet's conversation with the path that she was taking and returned to where I sat and with her arms thrown WIDE open gave me one of the sweetest, most tender hugs that I have ever experienced. It only lasted for a blink, but it was one of the most heart-pleasing events that I have EVER shared with another human being. I was stunned, if only momentarily, into a place of absolute rescue from all of my fears for this country in one simple and unplanned event.

"And a little child shall lead them ... ."

No joke, huh?

I believe that peace, love, joy, happiness, and soul🤣are absolutely possible if we "look out for each other" only half as much as we look out for ourselves.

There are toooooo many wonderful people in this USA of ours to think that "we can't," RIGHT?

"Black, White, Red, Yellow, and Brown," Christian or Jewish (just to name two), rich or poor ... I TRULY believe that if we live led by love that we can WIN the battle for BETTER. "I think we can, I think we can ... ."

Thinking that way, TOGETHER, we WILL.

Feel me?

I'll close with this:

"Care about your (OUR) children. Just bless them instead of worrying, as every little child is the little Buddha who helps his parents grow up."

- Buddha

I dedicate today's blog to all of the babies, children, and young people who are still counting on us to come through for them. Let's not dissaponint them, yeah?

Much Love, many Blessings, and a boatload of HOPE.

Your friend, Joyce's boy, aka "Fast Binky"🤣
