"Even if I knew that tomorrow the world would go to pieces, I would still plant my apple tree.

- Martin Luther

Good people of my "near and far" community," I wish you, each and all, the ability to "see and seize" the beauty of the moment.

Having a bad day? Take a deep breath, then turn around and look at at something beautiful, for example that little baby taking its first steps "toward tomorrow." Is that not a stone-cold show-stopper or what?!

In that moment there is nothing else happening. In that moment yesterday doesn't matter and the shine in your eyes coming back off of the brilliance of that child virtually blinds you to tomorrow. Engage the moment.

Intentionally tell someone, today, you name the moment, that you love them. I'm thinking, all things being equal, that in that particular moment the world will stop "spinning dizzly," and the person hearing those words will, at least for a blink, forget about the possibility of tomorrow's trial and tribulation ... and go about the business of trying to get their breath back for hearing your beautiful "offering."

Engage the moment.

There is chaos in our country as "we the people" and our wants and needs have become misplaced, forgotten, and in some cases, too many, people have been maimed, maligned and murdered.

This reality can NOT and should not be pushed off into a corner and left to only get worse.

Certainly not.

We can "wish, hope, and pray" that the letters written to the "responsible" parties and our disapproval of the present "political practices" demonstrated through protests somehow is "bandage enough" to stanch the bleeding of the "body America," but that is almost the end of what we can realistically do - big picture - as citizens outside of the room in which our policy makers are housed.

But it is NOT the end of what we CAN do.

We must continue to celebrate all of our personal victories, we must continue to celebrate our families, our friends, our neighbors, "the man on the street ... and the couple upstairs."

By "celibrate" I mean to continue loving, laughing, and living with each ohter in a "harmony" that

will not be defeated by anything or anyone, evil.

Good people, no fear ... "You've gotta dance like there's nobody watching, love like you'll never be hurt, sing like there's nobody listening, and live like it's heaven on Earth."

- Attributed most often to W. W. Purkey

Stay up, stay awake, stay strong, live and love intentionally.

Many of you are, by now, saying, "What does he think he knows?"

And I'll admit, "Not much."

Except this: love never loses, not really.

I love you, you love me back and guess what.

WE win!

In this moment, I feel really good and, further, committed to engaging the moment, well, moment by momentπŸ€—.

Have your best rest of this ... endeavor to make "tommorow" an even "better best!"

Whole bunch of love, whole bunch of blessings.

Your friend, Joyce's boy, aka "Fast Binky."πŸ™ƒ
