πŸŽ‰This is a PSA to all of the good people in my life, near, my village, and far:

On this Sunday just past, February 1st, I celebrated another in a loooooooong line of birthdays, a loooooong, long line, whew!🀣

And this was one of my most enjoyable birthdays EVER!

Simple, but I am a very simple guy, yes, with some twists and turnsπŸ™ƒ, but a simple guy nontheless.

Back to THE BIRTHDAY😊:

It was wonderful in LARGE part for the many and varied wonderful people that I have in my life. Some of whom I heard from on my day, but ALL of whom I thought about on that same "my day."πŸ™ƒ

Our country is currently being tossed on the horns of some exceedingly poor judgement on the part of some of our wicked-effette "leadership," and poor behavior on the part of some of our citizenry.

Almost every day, I wake up with a bad taste in my mouth and a mind that needs the windows full-open so that it might be refreshed for all of the skullduggery that our country suffers from on a daily basis.

But, no, not on this day, Sunday, February 1st. Nooo, on that day I chose to take an accounting of all of the "Bobs ..." 😊 in my life and realized that I can NOT walk a day in the rain that is my life without getting soaked to the bone in blessings.

Yeah, it is a "rough walk," today, on the pathways that take us to and through our "purpose" but if we would only look slightly to our left, our right, up, or down there is so much good to be found.

I am so thankful for the abundant good that I find in my family, friends and neighbors. As far as neighbors go, I have not had the "kind kind" that I have now since my youth in Chicago where a sweetner missing from your Kool-Aid was only a neighbor's borrowed cup of sugar away.πŸ₯°

My friends, friendlies, and neighbors in the Village of Five Parks are nothing if not a reflection of the good people that I now celebrate in my memory, from Chicago.

Beautiful people, from all walks of life are my "Thoms, Lisas ... and Cindys" 😊.

While I hold no one's feet to the fire where it comes to having my life inspired, it seems that whenever I am blessed to be in the company of one of the good people of the Haskin in specific, and The Village and surrounding areas in general, my day and life are lifted to heights not expected but genuinely and much appreciated.

I guess my stuttering message in this Wednesday blog is that we all have more than one "Chris or Lanney"😊 in our lives and it is up to us to find them by doing no more than greeting each day that we are blessed to have life with an open heart, open eyes, open arms, and an open mind.

Please, trust me, when I say that finding the "Mindy, Doris, Vickie ..." for your life, in "person or thing" is only one deep breath and a willing heart away!

Good people, celebrate all of the possibilities.

There are SO many.

Love more, laugh harder, care always ... and be thankful to the point that your appreciation drowns out the noise made by your, my, their, and our disappointment, yeah?

What say you that we all, together, lead our lives with love ... upper-case

L -O-V- E. Then and only then can we consider winning the war even in the face of losing some of the battles.

I care about all of you, because you matter ... you're special.

Much love, good fortune, and abundant blessings.

Your friend, Joyce's boy, aka "Fast Binky"🀣
